School Selection
The first and, perhaps, the most important step is deciding where to apply. You will have numerous options and limited time. From “hidden Ivies” to highly-ranked liberal arts colleges, there are opportunities you may have not considered, or have the time to research. I will work with you to come up with an aggressive, but achievable school selection list. I have professional and personal experience working with applications for schools in the US, UK, Europe and Australia at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
Applications and Interviews
I offer continuous and personal support throughout the application process. I will take the time to get to know you and empower you to create a strong - and authentic - representation of yourself to the university. Additionally, I will assist you in preparing for admission interviews. As a former admissions officer, I use my insider knowledge to make sure you package your strengths in a way to stand out from other applicants. For many graduate applications (such as MBA) the interview can be extremely important and I have first-hand experience interviewing graduate candidates for admission.
English Language Tutoring
I am available for general English language tutoring and provide a safe space for students to gain confidence in their language skills with a native speaker.
General Academic Tutoring
My expertise lies in the humanities, business, law, and English. I am available for tutoring to enhance the student’s abilities on short-term projects, or also long-term support.
Business English
As I have experience in the fields of business and law, I help my students master industry-specific terminology that might not be taught in a general English course. Additionally, I cover language and expressions used in negotiations, presentations, interviews, and business meetings. I also work with professionals on topics such as cross-cultural communication, how to plan an effective meeting, and negotiating with English as a second language.
